Seminars and Workshops are a great way to improve your skills by learning from THE BEST!
We’re excited to offer you these opportunities at Canine Sports Zone.
- Working spots are for active participants and their dogs.
- Auditors are welcome to take notes and participate by observing and asking questions. While some auditors do bring their dogs along, auditors are not allowed to work their dogs during the workshop/seminar presentation time. If an Auditor has brought a dog and would like to work independently with their dogs during breaks, it is allowed as long as it is non-disruptive to the presenter and presentation area.

Payment: 50% deposit is required to complete working seminar/workshop registration (a small processing fee is added to credit card payments by STRIPE, our processor). The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the seminar/workshop and may be paid by credit card online, cash or check.

Claudette Mo
January 16th, 2026
Claudette has studied all over the world on this topic and continues to expand her knowledge from the leaders on the topic. Come learn from someone who studies the topic, and watches thousands of different size dogs on all different surfaces. The goal is to help handlers understand dog paths, approaches to contacts in particular, but also how to handle lines to help dogs when people are doing their walk throughs. Learn how to set up obstacles in a safer manner and how to predict the line so you can help your dogs with the best handling option.
For course builders, this workshop will help you set the obstacles with safety in mind, but also
will help you understand how minor changes in placement or angle of obstacles can create
unintended dog lines.
For course designers (judges or instructors), this workshop will help you design flowy courses
safe options for contact and tunnel approaches, and how to tweak courses to achieve the intended lines or to minimize dropped bars.
And for HANDLERS, you will learn how to read the dog lines as you walk the course, helping you
make handling decisions that are the most appropriate for your dogs. A few demo dogs, selected in advance by the presenter, will be used to demonstrate lines.
** This will be a human only hands-on workshop.**

Finley Richgels *Rescheduled*
January 17th, 2026
This workshop is designed to teach a clear understanding of which end of the tunnel you’re asking for on the course. Gain clarity on tunnel entrances for both you and your dog, then build distance for obstacle discriminations.
Learn the key skills to teach and maintain communication with your dog about the correct tunnel end—plus, develop the timing to apply those skills in various scenarios.
Taught through games to accelerate learning and deepen understanding. Suitable for dogs 4 months and older who are comfortable with curved tunnels and jump uprights.
