Canine Sports Zone Policies

GENERAL

Bitches in Season

Bitches in season are allowed to train at Canine Sports Zone. When training, it is expected that they will wear britches/panties (with liners if needed) to keep equipment, floor, etc. clean during their training time. Britches/panties are not required when they are crated, and there is no special exercise/potty area for bitches in season.

Right to Refuse Service(s)

Our goal is to provide our clients with the best learning experience possible.  Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse service(s) to anyone while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.  This right of refusal includes the denial of registration to Canine Sports Zone classes, lessons, events (including, but not limited to, seminars and trials) and ring rentals.  Canine Sports Zone may remove any participant, or guest of a participant, from the aforementioned activities at any given time as deemed appropriate by Canine Sports Zone.

We respect our clients personal information and will not provide contact information to others.  We ask our clients to contact our staff and instructors through the Canine Sports Zone office at mailbox@caninesportszone.com unless it is regarding private lessons with that instructor.

CLASSES

To keep classes efficient and remain a positive learning environment for all, a handler may only have up to two dogs in a single class at a time.  If a handler has two dogs in a class, or in the building, all of the dogs are the responsibility of the handler and need to be monitored, securely crated, quiet, and non-disruptive at all times.  Dogs that are disruptive while crated need to be crated from vehicles.

Students may sell their spot in a Canine Sports Zone class on the FaceBook group titled “CSZ Class Information Board.”  Spots may only be sold to and purchased by individuals who have a waiver on file in our BusyPaws (electronic registration) system and who meet all of the class prerequisites.

Class registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Switching Classes

Students may only switch classes by canceling the class he/she originally signed up for (if within the cancellation policy timeline outlined above) and enrolling in the new class.  If the student is outside of the cancellation policy timeline, the student is responsible for payment of the class he/she originally signed up for. Students may opt to “sell” their classes to other Canine Sports Zone students qualified to take the class utilizing the CSZ Class Information Board Facebook group which is available to all CSZ students.

PAYMENT POLICY

Classes must be paid for in full by the start of the first class.  Ring rental fees must be paid by the start of the ring rental.  RV spot rental fees must be paid prior to or at the time of arrival.

We reserve the right to prevent any client with amounts past due from signing up for future ring rentals, classes, or seminars/workshops.

BUILDING ACCESS

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your class or arena rental.  This is so that your arrival does not disrupt individuals in the arena prior to you and to allow them adequate time to gather their dogs and belongings and exit the building.  It also allows our staff adequate time to assure the arenas and building are ready for you.  Individuals arriving earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time may be asked to wait outside the building.  Seminar and workshop participants will be instructed in their confirmation letter when to arrive and where to enter the building.

PRIVATE LESSONS

We are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to have private lessons with our instructors.  If you would like to have a private lesson with an instructor, please discuss with that instructor or contact our office at mailbox@caninesportszone.com.

PLAYGROUP RING RENTAL

The Training Room (matted ring) is available on a limited basis for doggie playgroups.  A limit of three dogs and six humans is allowed per rental period.  Dogs must know each other and get along well with each other prior to coming to our facility.  They must be well-behaved and not allowed to potty in the ring/facility.  For the safety of everyone, dogs are not allowed to interact with dogs outside of their playgroup while on the premises.  Dogs must be on leash at all times inside (when not in the Training Room) and outside the facility.  There is three foot gating around the ring.  Dogs in playgroups need to respect the gating and not interfere with others training in nearby rings or walking past the Training Room.  For safety reasons, the equipment inside the matted ring is not to be used during playgroups.
